Alone, I wandered around, very slowly and very long. Chased by the empty, bleak spaces, looking for the rarest places and the loneliest, most undisturbed objects, finding repetitions that were never identical, variations on the same icon that pushed me to look for more. The hours behind the wheel and the shots out the window - there is all my lazy but finally serene aimless flaneurie, which unlike boredom is accompanied by a restlessness that drives one to seek, despite everything.
